As long as you did it to one of the least of my brethren you did it to me (St.Mt. 25/40). This prompted our Father Founder to do something for these unfortunate brethren.

Our Charism of our Congregation is to follow the humble, poor Jesus and radiate His Compassionate Love in Joyful Service to the sick, the needy, the poor and the rejected in the society, especially the leprosy striken brethren.

Realizing the importance of Loving Service, our Congregation started Leprosy Asylums, Orphanages, General Hospitals, Special Schools for blind, Deaf and Dumb and Mentally Retarded Children.
